My background
Much of my clinical experience comes from working in residential treatment, where clients are often navigating severe mental health symptoms, trauma, addiction, and moments of significant crisis. Practicing in that level of care has shaped the way I work: I am active, focused, and committed to helping clients create meaningful change.
In residential settings, I have worked with hundreds of clients in high-intensity clinical environments where emotional stability, recovery, and symptom improvement are urgent and deeply important. That experience has taught me how to move with both care and direction — helping clients feel supported while also working toward real progress.
I am trained and experienced in providing EMDR therapy for individuals with complex trauma, addiction, dissociation, and chronic mental health patterns. I believe the brain has a powerful capacity to heal when therapy is paced correctly, guided skillfully, and rooted in safety.
The most meaningful part of this work is witnessing clients reconnect with themselves in a deeper way — becoming more present, more whole, and more able to experience the joy and meaning that life can offer.
